International Financial Policy

The papers included in this volume were prepared for a conference held in honour of Jacques J.Polak, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to international economics and his distinguished service at the IMF. Prepared by a group of eminent scholars, the papers deal with a variety of subjects reflecting some of the foremost thinking on major policy issues of the day. They range from the future of the international monetary system to the sequencing of reforms in Eastern Europe.
