Electropolymerization kinetics, characterization and application

In this work, electropolymerization of m-toluidine, m-cresol and their mixture from acid medium were done using cyclic voltammetry technique. The obtained films were characterized using several tools and simple mechanisms for preparation of these polymers are proposed.The preparation of polymers took place with simple and low cost techniques.The obtained (polymer/Pt)-coats is used successfully as pH and heavy metal sensors. The applications also consider very simple and low cost with high performance and accuracy.
