Schiff base metal complexes: synthesis structure and properties

In the past 20 years, inorganic chemistry has been greatly enriched by the continuous development of coordination chemistry and the entry of new thinking from an organic perspective. In coordination chemistry, ligational behaviors of Schiff bases are fabulous, thus thousand types of coordination compounds are reported with several metal ions viz. alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals and inner transition metals in different oxidation states. Studies made in present context are focused on synthesis, spectral characterization, structural elucidation, theoretical calculations and applications of Schiff base complexes and described into five chapters.
