Plant tissue culture offers novelapproaches to plant production, propagation & conservation .The present book is an attempt to provide a protocol to use plant tissue culture techniques and improve the plant productivity for human welfare.This book will be a lab manual of plant tissue culture for the students of undergraduate, postgraduate & research scholars. A timber plant of leguminasae i.e. Dalbergia sissoo, which is going to be an endangered plant has been selected for plant tissue culture studies. The protocol of plant tissue culture can be used in the field of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, plant breeding, Phytopathology, ayurveda etc. The medicinal importance of the plant has been also described.
