Green IT in LPU

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Green IT implementation in Lovely Professional University that helps to maintain a unique identification among all other universities. study was conducted in LPU based on various departments (Lovely School of Business, Lovely School of Management, Lovely Institute of Management, Lovely InfoTech department) ,one of the largest university in Punjab, India. Out of 120 responses on random basis, gathered 100 usable questionnaires. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (Crosstabs).The findings indicate that most of the people are aware about Green IT but they don t have knowledge about the Implementation and benefits of Green IT. The findings suggest that there should be any program related to implementation of Green IT that helps to increase the knowledge about Green IT.
