Appendicitis

Appendicitis is one of the commonest surgical problem dealt in General Surgery department. If the patient comes to surgeon within 48 hours, the treatment of choice is appendicectomy. However if the patient comes after 48 hours, the management may differ at different centers and from surgeon to surgeon. Appendicectomy after 48 hours depends upon various factors which have been evaluated in this book.
