Internal Auditing Practices in India

Internal auditing has emerged as an important discipline and excellent training ground for future management positions. In India, the auditing profession is getting a lot of importance in both public and private sectors particularly after the Enron and World Com scams. However, no comprehensive research is undertaken on its principal activity, namely internal auditing. This book, therefore, examine the internal auditing practices of companies in public and private sector in India.
