Analytical Reading Manual Text

The manual is designed for fourth-year students at foreign-language institutes and departments. Each of the manual's seven sections is designed for 6 to 7 lessons. It includes: authentic texts with socio-psychological content; questions and tasks that teach linguistic and stylistic interpretation of texts of different functional affiliations, developing and consolidating analytical skills; exercises that involve, among other things, independent work by students; various tasks aimed at enriching students' vocabulary; narrative of a French text thematically related to French material; extracts/articles from French linguistic dictionaries and some works by famous French and world writers; questions for free discussion; topics for a home-written essay.
