VANET ATTRIBUTES AND VANET AS MANET SUBCLASS

VANET - Vehicular Adhoc Network which has vehicles as its communicating nodes, is a paradigm shift in networking with fast moving vehicles posing technical challenges such as varying channel characteristics due to dynamically varying speeds of vehicles. VANET eases traffic congestion avoiding lanes that are of heavy traffic and also minimizes accidents. In this work we have dwelt on analyzing the VANET concept using a software tool encouraging the reader to choose any tool based on their requirement. We have compared VANET as a specific kind of MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network). Blockchain approach is also used for VANET. VANET is the predecessor of V2X technology of 5G.
