Inside Iran

Mark Edward Harris has traveled Iran and produced the only contemporary photographic book on the country. Fitting in to his interest in traveling and photographing people and areas remote to general understanding, the book is a sort of companion piece in the "Axis of Evil" series, to his "Inside North Korea". The two books will have the same trimsize and pricepoint. "Inside Iran" is likely to be a signature longer and will be able to offer a wonderfully varied and wider range of photographic subjects and portraits than the more strictly government-limited North Korea project. Text will again inform the photographs with introductions to regions and cities and extended captions providing context. Text will be offered in a factual rather than opinionated or partisan tone.
