Insolvency & Tax

The book will be divided into four parts. The first part will deal with pre-insolvency matters. The second will deal with each of the insolvency procedures in turn; administration, administrative receivership, receivership, liquidation and CVAs (Company Voluntary Arrangements). A number of the chapters will be repeated for each procedure and there will be some common material so that the treatment of each procedure is a self contained whole. The third part will have chapters dealing with specific topics that are relevant to each of the procedures and this will prevent undue repetition. The difference in the application of the specific topics to each procedure will be highlighted within each chapter. The fourth will include chapters on members voluntary liquidations which is not an insolvency procedure requiring the company to be solvent, but which the law requires to be undertaken by an insolvency practitioner, and a chapter on the insolvency of limited liability partnerships.
