Paying Back Jack

When Vincent Calvino is hired by a retired Thai general to deal with a corrupt and deadbeat tenant, he finds himself swimming in deeper waters than he'd bargained for as he and the General narrowly avoid an assassination attempt... When the General suggests that he gets out of Bangkok for a few days, Calvino heads for the beach. Unfortunately, trouble follows him, in the form of a beautiful young Thai woman who falls to her death from the hotel room above his. Back in Bangkok a pair of elite snipers is staking out a high profile target, a Thai politician running for election. But they're not really on a mercenary mission: they're 'paying back Jack', doing a favor for a man in need. Calvino, it turns out, is also tailing the same man, and as his investigation draws him into a murky world of private contractors, UN officials, and local politics, and he gets closer to his target, his run of bad luck goes from bad to worse...
