Building Systems

This book aims to understand the concepts of building service systems of HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems, plumbing and drainage services. In this course, the students obtain advanced knowledge in building energy management and cost management. The students shall be introduced to the basic requirements for the building services system installations and computer aided drafting for mechanical plans. 1.Infer the principles of HVAC, Plumbing and water supply / drainage systems in various building services. 2.Reproduce the standard codes and glossary of HVAC and Plumbing and its application in building Services and plans.3.Evaluate the cost estimation of HVAC and plumbing system and analyze appropriate assumptions for solving basic Engineering problems.4.Propose the integration of HVAC, fire Protection and plumbing plans for different environmental systems in a building.5.Analyze and apply the various types of fire services and Fire protection to suit the requirements of building system.6.Create HVAC and Plumbing plans in CADD software to generate accurate detailed drawings related to the building services.
