How to Overcome Temptation: When Quoting Scripture Doesn't Work

Have you learned that the Word of God is a Sword? (Eph. 6:17) Or maybe you've learned to quote the Word, just as Jesus did, when the enemy came to tempt Him. (Mathew 4:1-11)But, instead of the enemy fleeing, you find yourself feeling increasingly overwhelmed. Well, this was my story. But thanks be to God, this was not my end. And I pray this is not your end either. Because I am about to give you something powerful!The Scriptures call it a TESTIMONY. And the Scriptures teach us that the TESTIMONY is how we as believers overcome. Revelations 12:11 says this, &quote;And they overcame him, by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their life, even when faced with death.&quote;Do you see? We overcome first by being a believer in Christ Jesus, and secondly, by the word of our testimonies. So here is mine! And I pray my testimony is a blessing to all who find it!
