We have motivated to provide the solution which have hardly presented ever literature of structural optimum design , welded beam optimum designs in imprecise environment i.e in Intuitionistic Fuzzy environment in this book.The objective of the book is not only to study the concept of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set, Convex Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set, Union of Two Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Intersection of Two Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Generalized Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number, Generalized Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number, Ranking of Triangular Intuitionistic fuzzy number, Nearest Interval Approximation of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number, Parametric Interval Valued Function,T-Norm and T-Conorm but also fulfil the criteria of specification of such concepts from a technical point of view.The second objective of the book is identification of impreciseness that involved in real life engineering design problems such as in various structural design problems, welded beam design. For example they are often exhibit in the form of applied load, stresses, deflection in the test problem.Ultimately development of mathematical algorithm using Intuitionistic Fuzzy set theory .
