Ergonomic assessment methods

This book attempts to ergonomically assess static loading on human body and various musculoskeletal problems. Posture adopted during load carrying adopts four different modes on head, on back, on shoulders and in hands hanging in sides. The energy expenditure, posture adopted, amount of load, time spent, distance traveled and mode of carrying load found highly correlated. A step wise step detailed protocol followed in any ergonomic assessment research work is described. It is an ideal presentation of work of its kind and could be a milestone for those who are involved in such research and teaching work.
