Microbes "As We Know"

This textbook is meant to introduce the utility of microbes which is an integral portion of industrial microbiology. The author has drawn experience from teaching microbiology to the undergraduates and mastering students on wide range of microbiology, food science, biotechnology, chemical engineering and applied biology courses. It is assumed that the reader may have some coarse idea of biochemistry and microbiology. Even though, students who have some idea about chemistry and aware of some basic concepts in biology can find this part of literature accessible and easy to understand.
