Meanwhile, the Vermillion Squad - Rick (now blind), Max and Ben - plus Lisa and Kramer have been taken prisoner aboard the Zentraedi flagship and interrogated by the aliens. In his Veritech, Max survived being brutally beaten by the Zentraedi Miriya and made his way back to free his friends.
