Stemming Plugs Application in Mining

Stemming plugs are used in mining industry for improving blast performance and mitigating risk of adverse explosive usage. This work explains the usage of three different stemming plugs and compared them with conventional stemming method. Detailed fragmentation and economic analysis is also performed to evaluate the effectiveness of different plugs. Economic and fragmentation analysis strongly establish the utilization of stemming plugs in mining industry.
