In mobile phones and several other wireless communication devices, the antenna is an important element which decides the quality & performance of the device over various communication standards. In last few years mobile phones has evolved rapidly and they are required to give various services like data, voice, Internet & multimedia content without compromising on their weight, volume and performance. This book presents a small and compact multiband internal antenna that operates in several bands including GPS, GLONASS, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, UMTS (3G), 4G LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth frequency bands has been designed. The antenna is a single feed and low profile Planar Inverted-F Antenna (PIFA).
