Detailed information

Is using a recently developed 3D Virtual Reality simulation in the design of an online training course a valid method for delivering safety training and will younger learners fare better than older learners? Those questions were recently posed while discussing a newly commissioned 3D virtual world safety simulation. The concern was that the new simulation does not deliver the safety training to the same depth as the existing eLearning training course currently available to adult learners online via a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS). This quasi-experimental, quantitative study compared the existing delivery method to a newly commissioned 3D virtual reality simulation. The results were not quite what was expected.
