Apprentices in the construction industry need to have level 2 functional skills, this includes application of number and this si why this book is so important. The book is a series of lessons where the scenarios involve stock control calculations. It is essential that new entrants are numerate now that the U.K. is in a post Brexit world and that they can mentally calculate. This does fit in well with lean construction where progressive companies are looking at the value chain and the supply chain and aiming to reduce and then eliminate waste.
