This multimedia CD-ROM is based on "The Oxford Picture Power Dictionary". It brings together the artwork of the printed dictionary, the activities from the workbook and the audio cassette recordings into one interactive package. Using the CD-ROM, children can hear the headwords spoken aloud, record their own voices and listen to the stories. A copy of the book is supplied with the CD. System requirements for Windows: IBM PC or full compatible; 66 MHz 486 processor or above; 8Bb RAM (16Mb for Windows 95); 8Mb free on hard disk; SVGA monitor (640 x 480 screen resolution capable of displaying minimum 256 colours); Windows-compatible double-speed CD-ROM drive; Windows 3.1 or higher, or Windows 95. DOS 3.3 or higher; Microsoft mouse or compatible; and a Sound Blaster sound card or compatible with headphones or speakers is optional.
