This is an updated version of the Oxford Spellchecker and Dictionary on CD-ROM which is now compatible with WindowsRG Vista, as well as WindowsRG XP and WindowsRG 2000. It fully integrates with MicrosoftRG Office and replaces the MicrosoftRG spellchecker on installation to give you Oxford-preferred spellings in all your documents, emails, and correspondence. But this is more than just a spellchecker - it is also an electronic dictionary. The dictionary link allows you to check meanings and usage, or to look up words independenlty. It uses the unrivalled authority of Oxford dictionaries to give you definitions of more than 200,000 words from the Oxford Dictionary of English. You can set your default language to British or American English. You can also specify whether you want to default to -ise or -ize spellings as standard, for example whether realise, prioritise or realize, prioritize. You can also receive get warnings of commonly confused words and spellings - like principal and principle, or stationary and stationery - so you can always be certain that you are using the correct term in the correct way.
