Human resources play a predominant role in accelerating the pace of the economy development of the country. Education is a key for formation of human resource capital and in creating opportunities to make use of this as capital in the economy. Recognizing its role in the development of the individual and the country, the education system has been expanded and strengthened to cover all sections of population at various levels. In this process more attention was given for quantitative expansion. As result the quality of education has got affected. This has led to the mismatch between the needs of the country and the output of the education system. The investigators acknowledge their gratitude to the S.V.University for accepting and financing the study under SAP Programme of Department of Adult and Continuing Education. They thank the Principals and Staff of the colleges for their cooperation and help in collecting, the data and also record their appreciations for all the students who have responded to the study,
