Forest species propagation practices

Studies into the propagation of Brazilian native forest species, vegetative propagation techniques, including cuttings, are an alternative for overcoming the difficulties in propagating native species and can be used for commercial purposes, as well as helping to rescue and conserve forest genetic resources. However, some forms of propagation present limitations for the production of seedlings on a commercial scale for various native species.
