The goal of this biochemistry laboratory manual is to simulate how a biochemistry laboratory might perform. This book covers the practical for undergraduate students studying at University of Madras. A few basic chemical preparations are included, as well as the isolation, identification, and quantification of macro bio-molecules. Wherever possible, two or more methods are given. So, teachers and students will have a choice to make depending on the availability of chemicals, apparatus, instruments, time, etc. Through this book, they will be able to connect theory and practical for a deeper comprehension of the subject.
