TOXICITY POTENTIAL

The book is based on assessment of toxicity potential of dumped industrial solid waste. Samples from dumped solid waste were collected and physicochemical characterization of the prepared leachate was carried out. Toxicity potential of the leachate was assessed by bioassays involving exposing selected plants/animals to known concentrations of leachate. Four chapters of this book viz., Introduction, Literature Cited, Sampling & Analysis (Exposure Characterization) and Toxicological Analysis - Bioassys (Effects Characterisation) are covered in this book.
