Detailed information

In modern language teaching a constantly growing interest to the problem of teaching young and primary-age children is readily observed. Peculiar attention is given to the play element as an effective student-centered approach of teaching pupils a language. The study was done to prove that it is necessary to begin the teaching of a foreign language in the primary school and even in the kindergarten. Children are known to have an amazing ability to absorb language through play and other activities, which they find enjoyable. The play element is introduced in a wide range of materials such as songs, advertisements, rhymes, puns, prayers, and jokes and especially games. This book work focuses on the problem connected with the teaching a foreign language to primary-age children.
