Craniofacial Dysmorphogenesis

Anomalies of the craniofacial complex are of major significance not only to dental health but to mental health as well.The treatment of syndromes in children is a herculean task.The treatment requires multi disciplinary approach consisting of a team of craniofacial surgeon , neurologist , ENT , audiologist, speech pathologist, oral surgeon, psychologist & orthodontist.This review will help to prompt diagnosis along with understanding and management of the commonly occuring syndromes in children & the care of affected individuals.
