Detailed information

Diabetes is one of the most common endocrine diseases that due to the variability of diagnostic standards, it is difficult to determine its true extent. The number of people with diabetes in the United States is 16 million, and one in 20 people has diabetes mellitus. Diabetes is a serious disease caused by a lack of insulin in the body and leads to circulatory disorders. 5-6% of Americans have diabetes. In our country, due to the fact that microbiological tests are not equipped in terms of culture medium (especially anaerobic culture) and the workload increases due to the polymicrobial nature of the infection in laboratories. Due to this, the rate of such studies will be less. This is especially important for remote and deprived areas of our country that have the least laboratory facilities and another purpose of this study is to focus the opinion of respected physicians on the importance of cultivating such wounds and infections.
