Product Improvement Using Quality Function Deployment

The purpose of this study is to suggest an integrated approach of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Target Costing (TC). This integrated approach helps to achieve the best optimum solution in an existing product in a systematic way. This book presents a case study of a manufacturing industry that manufactures stainless steel submersible pumps. It proposed an integrated approach of Quality Function Deployment and Target Costing, based on the identify customer's requirements, engineering characteristics and find the substitute of product parts that have highly demanded by customers at the most competitive cost.
