Red-Hot Hightops

When Kelly Roberts plays basketball at home with her friend Ester, she's a whiz, but as soon as she faces a crowd, she freezes. One day she finds a new pair of red hightops in her locker. Whenever she wears them she plays a better game. Could the mysterious hightops somehow be magical?
