Detailed information

This book is about how to use survival analysis technique and shared frailty model for cross sectional data. The aim of this book was to use survival analysis techniques with frailty models and apply these methods on Ethiopia Demographic Health Survey data for the year 2016. The frailty term takes into consideration the situation where some of the children may be exposed to the hazard of death before five years more than the others. Also, the book sets out to provide a comprehensive insight how to use Kaplan Meier for comparing survivor; parametric survival model with shared frailty to account any extra heterogeneity in the data by using parametric shared frailty survival analysis.
