So far we are using the electrical networks for communication purpose is not sufficient to provide the higher data rate, so we must have to look towards the optical networks. The Optical Networks we are using now a days is in circuit switching, which does not efficiently utilize the network as the packet switching does. So its better to use packet/Burst switching for optical communication but till date we do not have the optical devices to support the all optical packet/Burst switching. This book has the details of optical components that can be used for generating the basic devices of all optical switching. Since logic circuits are smallest unit of large digital circuits so to design a large optical circuits all optical logic gates are required. In this book optical components has been used for generating the all optical logic which can be the base for design of all optical memories and all optical routers. This book also has the simulations and results of designing of all optical logic circuits.
