SAP® ECC in the Public Sector

In the manufacturing industry and logistics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have not only become an integral part of everyday work, but also of relevant university teaching programmes. The authors have offered such lectures since the 1990-ies. In the meantime, ERP systems are also being used in the public sector, hence students have to be prepared better for the real life in public administration.This book represents two subjects: (i) Data and process modelling and budgeting as well as (ii) controlling and logistics. The ERP functions were implemented in SAP ECC(TM). These subjects were created in a project financed by the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and are available in English, German and Romanian. They are successfully being taught at several universities in the Danube Region.
