Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, musician and travel writer. His most famous works are &quote;Treasure Island&quote; (1883), &quote;Kidnapped&quote; (1886) and &quote;The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde&quote; (1886). Stevenson also wrote several fascinating supernatural short stories. Nearly all of his tales of terror feature the multiplicity of man's soul and the horrible battles that erupt around its ownership.
