The Idiot, written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, is a novel that follows the life of Prince Mishkin, an individual who is seen as an idiot by many people in society due to his lack of understanding in regards to complex topics and his overall naivete. Despite this, Mishkin is a kind and caring individual who manages to find happiness in the simplest things in life.
