Smart Camera Networks

Since the need for public safety is growing worldwide, vision-based surveillance systems are steadily achieving higher public acceptance. Major applications enabled by multi-camera networks include smart homes, office automation through occupancy sensing, security and surveillance, mobile and robotic networks, human computer interfaces and virtual reality systems. Sensor deployment plays a very important role in surveillance systems.
