Payment options
You can pay for the goods you choose on our website and which you order in one of the following ways:
Payment by card
The classic way is to use the payment card that is associated with your bank account. If you decide to pay for your books in this way, you do not have to worry about your sensitive personal data - it will redirect you to the secure payment gateway of the online payment provider GP webpay. These experts have been specializing in cashless transactions for 40 years and use state-of-the-art security systems.
PayPal
One of the most common ways to pay online is a PayPal account. Millions of people around the world have loved it. You can learn more about the PayPal account on Wikipedia or directly on the PayPal website.
Cash on delivery
We will deliver the books by courier to your door (in exceptional cases, we will use the services of Slovenská pošta, but this only applies to situations where, for example, you order one CD that fits in the envelope). Then the hand-to-hand transaction will take place :-) You will give the courier money and he will sell you your coveted books. Please note that the courier service charges an extra fee for cash on delivery. This method of payment will cost you € 1.
Advance invoice (Proforma)
This method of payment means that you choose the goods, we will issue you an advance invoice (in foreign words it is called proforma). As soon as you pay for it by transfer to our account and we match the payment, we will immediately ship the goods that are in stock to you.
In person in cash at collection
You pay for the goods at the personal collection. It is up to you whether it will be in cash or by credit card. You can pick up the books at our Bratislava headquarters or at the Oxford Bookshop Bratislava, Oxford Bookshop Banska Bystrica and Oxford Bookshop Košice bookstores.
On invoice
If you are a bookseller or school, we will deliver the goods to you with an invoice, you will have 14 days to pay for it. If you accidentally create it somewhere, you can reprint it yourself. You can always find it after logging in in the menu My account -> Invoice overview.
Postal order
We offer schools another method of payment, using a postal order. You will receive textbooks, withdraw money from students, with whom you will go to the nearest post office together with the completed postal order and send us the amount. You can read exactly how this payment works on the Slovak Post website.
