The descendant of Jewish immigrants who became a peer, Greville Janner has worked throughout his life to foster greater understanding between communities in Britain and across the world. Born in Wales into a political and Zionist family, Lord Janner became the youngest ever War Crimes Investigator at the age of eighteen, in 1947.
